This is cultural theme hotel with an ambience inspired by wines and the Spanish denominations of origin. The hotel has 48 bedrooms distributed over 7 floors. They are constantly renovated and perfectly equipped to satisfy any necessity. The hotel is right in the historic centre of Madrid. The hotel is located in the centre of the artistic area of Madrid, and where the monuments are. It is in the famous “Triangulo del Arte”(triangle of Arts), formed by the three prestigious museums: El Prado Museum, the Reina Sofía Museum and the Thyssen Bornemisza Museum, and it is next to the Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and Calle Huertas, with its lively ambience at night. To wander through the quarter is an unforgettable experience.

  • Cleanliness: 10 Hotel room very clean and well kept.
  • Location: 10 Well within walking distance of the "Golden Triangle of Art" and main cultural attractions, including the beautiful botanical gardens. In a very interesting neighborhood, with narrow lanes. Would not ever drive there, but walking around the neighborhood is fun and interesting. Taxis are plentiful.

  • Staff: 10 Staff is very courteous and speak English well. I arrived early in the morning, before I was expected, and they had a room cleaned and ready for me with just a short wait.
  • Quietness: 7.5 Like all the hotels in Madrid that I stayed in, the walls are thin and guests stay up very late at night making noise. On the plus side, there was no outside noise at all. Bring earplugs.
  • Room: 5 Like at other hotels in Madrid, a single room is very small, suitable for one person only, but with a relatively large bathroom. The room had a window, but it opened on to an enclosed fire escape at the core of the building. All around, a nice room with modern fixtures.
  • Value for money: 10 Breakfast wasn%27t worth it, however, there is a nice little shop nearby that sells bottled water and snacks, and there are many food options in the neighborhood.
