• Positive: Location is very central and breakfast was very good.
• Negative: Noise in the area can be very bad at night, hang out spot for binge drinking teenagers. Hotel staff vary from helpful to rude but no-one had a good level of English.

• Cleanliness: 7.5 Very clean in general but there are still smoking rooms that smell very stale. No effort was made to get rid of it.
• Location: 10 2 mins walk from Metro and very very good location.
• Common facilities and services: 7.5 Not bad, internet is free in lobby but don't plan to check in online as you can't print boarding cards etc
• Staff: 2.5 I think the service level in Spain is generally lower than most other countries. Most staff were polite but never friendly or welcoming and there is no atmosphere. One or two of the front desk staff were just rude adn clearly are not very happy in their work.
• Quietness: Not rated Groups of binge drinking teenagers outside the hotel and on the street so we had to move rooms. They kept most of the guests up all night. The street is between a busy square and a park so noise levels can be very high.
• Room: 7.5 Suite was very nice but had 2 twin beds instead of a double bed! Why would a couple on holiday together want to sleep in seperate beds. Don't understand this at all. Smoking rooms are very smelly.
• Value for money: 5 Nice room, good breakfast and great location. Won't recommend it to anyone I like and won't be back.

• Negative: The noise!! Not the hotel's fault but one night 100+ teenagers had a street party that lasted about 3 hours. The police didn't come--this seems to happen in Madrid. Lots of noise every night--the hotel should install double or sound-proof windows.
