• Positive: Location. This hotel was conveniently located between Placa de Catalunya and the Cathedral. Two short blocks from Las Ramblas on a quiet and safe street. The rooms were modern, clean, and nicely furnished. A good place to stay that is quiet, yet close to activities and restaurants. Staff spoke English.
• Negative: We did not include the breakfast as it was expensive. There are local cafes nearby, where we found breakfast less costly.

• Negative: The overall poor attitude of the the people covering the front desk. They responded with short, abrupt responses to our needs, questions and challenges and made it clear that they had no intention of extending us any courtesy, beyond what was absolutely necessary during our stay.

• Quietness: 5 Overall, it was quiet except for one night where there was a loud commotion in the street under our room in the middle of the night.

• Value for money: 2.5 Way too expensive for what we had.
