• Positive: Stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate my mother's birthday. The staff from start to finish were superb-helpful, knowledgable and very willing to please. Also had a fantastic eye for detail-having logged our passport details on their system, they noticed it was my mum's birthday and so delivered us a complementary bottle of cava which was a really nice touch. The hotel is right in the middle of las ramblas, which makes it perfect for exploring as you can walk everywhere. The rooms are not huge but are clean and comfortable with good sized beds and bathrooms with hi fi, tv's and wireless. We had 3 amazing meals at commerc 23, sauc at the ohla hotel and bar mut, all of which I would recommend, and all of which are within walking distance of the hotel. I would absolutely come back here again and recommend it. I know other reviews have talked about noisy rooms, but if you request a room at the back, the rooms are silent, and the automatic shutters ensure you get an amazing nights sleep!

• Negative: The bed was very noisy with a bad squeak every time you moved, I did report it but nothing was done and for €240 a night it should have been sorted
