• Staff: 7.5 Very friendly and helpful. When we checked in, there was no one who spoke English.
• Quietness: 5 Our room was on the 5th floor and had a window on a central courtyard. This meant that we did not hear any traffic, etc, but unfortunately there were other rooms with windows onto the same central area, including what appeared to be student housing in the floors above. They left their windows open and were often noisy at night.
• Room: 7.5 The room itself was on the smaller size, as might be expected for a big city. It was quite comfortable and nicely decorated. The bathroom was stylish, but small (it had a 1/2 sized bath).
• Value for money: 7.5 Overall, I thought the price was reasonable. The location is on the main drag in Madrid, close to Metro stations. Note that breakfast is not provided, but there are lots of places nearby.
