• Negative: I think the rooms could be doing with a bit of redecoration, some fresh paint. But otherwise they were very clean and comfortable.

• Cleanliness: 10 Very clean, room cleaned every day. We had a room with a shared bathroom and we had no problems with this at all.
• Location: 10 Very central, we walked to all the different neighbourhoods every day from our hotel. There is a metro station right outside also, we had metro passes but didn't even use them. It's also quiet at night so we had a good nights sleep.
• Common facilities and services: 7.5 Flat5 Madrid had good facilities for a hostel, and they had lovely common areas/living rooms. The bathroom/shower rooms were well equipped and very clean. However I think with a little freshen up, maybe a fresh coat of paint in the rooms and bathrooms the place would be top notch.
• Staff: 10 All of the reception staff were very helpful and were there until 11pm if need be. They also stayed there overnight if we needed them for anything else. They helped us with any questions we had. The breakfast/cleaning staff were also very friendly and helpful, they would always make sure they had brought everything we needed round and if they had forgotten something, brought it round straight away.
• Quietness: 10 We had no trouble getting to sleep in our room. The level of noise outside was minimum and no noise in the hostel at night.
• Room: 7.5 As said before, rooms were lovely and quirky. Had everything you need and more, but would benefit from a freshen up with a new coat of paint.
• Value for money: 10 Great value for money, particularly for the location. We also chose the basic breakfast package and it was all you needed and tasty.

• Positive: Extremely central. They cleaned the room every day. Facilities were good and very clean. Shared bathrooms all in perfect conditions. Super cheap breakfast taken to the room every morning, if you book it. TV and AC in the room.
• Negative: Could not sleep with the balcony door opened because it was too noisy. Instead you had to put the AC on.
