Hotel Vilamarí ****

• Cleanliness: 2.5 One of the towels in the bathroom had been used and the hotel didn%27t change it even after asking them and one of the shampoo was already used. Beside that, one open beer was in the trash ?? So I don%27t know what happen with the cleaning service...
• Location: 5 The hotel is located at 2 kilometers from the very town center (gotic, rambla,...). There is the metro that is near but it close around midnight so if you wan to go oout at night it doesn%27t help. But beside that there is everything you may need very near :)
• Common facilities and services: 7.5 You can have some food served in your room all the time, there is a little fridge in the room, a gym room and a turkish bath as well.
• Staff: 2.5 When I arrived at 14h00, they didn%27t find my reservation made 3 days before on their website. They make me wait like 25 minutes to give me a room. They told me thay are going to see about the "problem" even with the printed paper I gave them with all the information on it. At night they ask me to show them the e-mail I received from them to prove that what I was saying was true!! And i didn%27t get any apologize!! I made a reservation at 85 euros but they announce me 165 euros. At 23h00 I could go to my room with the problem finally solved.
• Quietness: 7.5 The cleaning service knock at the door at 08h00 in the morning to ask us if we wanted breakfast.
• Room: 5 The room is ok for Barcelone. Everything was functionning (lights, shower, tv, fridge, air conditionning)
• Value for money: 2.5 Even if I paid the lowest rate that is 85 euros by night, I also paid a parking at 16 euros. The total of 101 euros is the same I would have pay for an other 4* hotel without the desagreement. So I would say that it is not a good deal.

• Negative: No dispusimos de aire acondicionado en nuestra habitación, y tuvimos que mantener abierta la ventana a un patio de luces para reducir algo la insoportable temperatura. El personal del hotel no hizo ningún caso a nuestras quejas. La atención en el bar también fué pésima.
