• Positive: Fui en pareja con mi marido. Nos gusto todo, el hotel esta muy completo . La limpieza magnifica, la comodidad, la situasion ,la habitaciones amplias y muy completas,las vistas son preciosas tanto al mar como a la montaña cada una tiene su encanto.Fuimos con media pension y la verdad tengo que decir que tanto desayuno como cena son buffet y esta todo riquisimo,variado y abundante.Todo el personal del hotel es muy atento, correcto y amable.Se portaron de maravilla con nosotros,fue una estancia inolvidable.Sin ninguna duda volveremos.

• Positive: Der Empfang an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich, schnell und kompetent. Wir bekamen das gebuchte Doppelzimmer mit Meerblick wie gewünscht in einer der oberen Etagen. Sämtliche Zimmer des Hotels haben Glastüren über die gesamte Zimmerbreite und zudem verglaste Balkonbrüstungen. Dies ermöglicht bei den meerseitigen Zimmern einen grandiosen Blick auf den unmittelbar vor dem Pooldeck beginnenden Atlantik mit der Nachbarinsel La Gomera am Horizont. Die tägliche Zimmerreinigung inklusive Handtuchwechsel war in Ordnung. Die Buffets zum Frühstück und zum Abendessen waren in Auswahl und Qualität sehr gut. Neben regionalen Angeboten gab es sogar Diätessen. Das Servicepersonal im Speiseraum war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Um den geheizten Meerwasserpool herum gibt es ausreichend viele Liegen und Sonnenschirme. Die Unsitte der „Handtuchreservierung“ ist deshalb eigentlich nicht notwendig, wird aber zumindest unmittelbar an der Hangkante doch gemacht. Die Abgrenzung zur Hangkante ist nämlich wie die Balkonbrüstungen voll verglast, was eine phantastische Sicht auf das Meer ermöglicht. An der Poolbar gibt es neben Snacks und Getränken zum Mittagessen gute und sogar preiswerte Angebote.
• Negative: Die Liegen sind nicht gerade bequem. Die Sonnenschirme auf dem Pooldeck mussten bei Wind geschlossen werden, was uns wiederholt zum Verlassen des Pooldecks gezwungen hat, weil wir die direkte Sonne nicht vertragen. Die Sonnenschirme bei der Poolbar wurden nach einigen Tagen sogar ganz entfernt und trotz leichtem Wind und unserer Bitte nicht wieder aufgestellt! Die für die Badehandtücher zuständigen Damen im Spa-Bereich müssten noch im Fach Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft geschult werden.

• Positive: The staff were always as helpful as in previous years. I did not think the food was as good as previous years but there was still a sufficient choice.
• Negative: The nightly entertainment Duo Paloma were very average at most. They played the same songs in the same order each night, but after the first three nights we tended to leave the hotel and seek better entertainment elsewhere. I cannot see that the change to Sensimar has made any difference as yet?

• Cleanliness: 7.5 The maid service was excellent but some of the toilets needed better care. My wife reported not toilet paper in the ladies near reception on two evenings.

• Value for money: 7.5 I booked direct with the hotel and flights with Monarch saving over £500 on TUI prices. I hope we will be able to get similar deals now it is Sensimar
