This traditional Italian hotel offers comfortable, air conditioned accommodation in a great location in the heart of the city, in a wing of one of the city’s historic Gothic palazzos. The Hotel San Giorgio is located in a palazzo that once belonged to the Pesaro family and was later bought by Mariano Fortuny. Today, the palazzo also houses the Fortuny Museum which features many of the artist's works, including his stunning lamps made of printed and painted fabric. One of the hotel’s distinctive traits is its warm, family atmosphere. Its rooms still have a typical Venetian elegance seen in the stucco work, the traditional Venetian glass and the garnet-red marble. The hotel has 16 rooms situated on 2 floors. All of the rooms look out onto narrow, peaceful Venetian calli (lanes), thus ensuring guests will enjoy a relaxing, tranquil stay. All the rooms are decorated in the traditional Venetian style of the 18th century.
