• Positive: The location on La Rambla was perfect. Starbuck is just across the street, Carrefour market for snacks and water and other needed items is also across the street. Metro stop is an easy 3 block walk away.

• Location: 10 Could not have asked for a better location. See my comment for what I liked best.
• Common facilities and services: 7.5 We really didn't use the common facilities, but they appeared to need some updating.
• Staff: 10 Spoke very good English and went above and beyond in responding to all our requests.
• Quietness: 10 Our room was on the third floor and faced La Rambla. We never heard any outside noice except when we had the window open. Incredible!
• Room: 7.5 The room was nice although a tad small, but given that the building is old, I can't complain. The double paned window REALLY kept out any outside noise.
• Value for money: 10 Expensive when compared with equivalent American hotels but good value for the money when compared with similar European hotels.
