• Quietness: Not rated but a lot of lot of noise from the street during the night - it was difficult to sleep

• Positive: The location, and that the building itself is a refurbished %27palacio%27. The incorporation of Las Meninas into the fixtures and fittings was well done. We especially liked the central staircase and the junction of old and modern it provided. We were travelling with our young child, and that posed no problem or comment from the hotel staff who were all friendly and well disposed.

• Common facilities and services: 7.5 Not well set up for IT and comms as there is only one PC in the main lobby and it was down while we were staying.

• Quietness: 10 Our room looked out onto the interior, so there was no street noise. Although you could hear people inside their rooms when walking past, once in our own room we couldn%27t hear anything. We were at the end of the corridor, so that probably helped.
• Room: 10 Our room was very small, which was a bit of a surprise even though we had been warned. I would say it was very functional in design and fittings, with little of the %27style%27 touches I had expected from the website.
• Value for money: 10 Overall, yes. The hotel was clean, very central, well appointed and the breakfast plentiful and with a very senisble timetable.
