• Location: 10 Very central. Walking distance to all main sites in Madrid.
• Common facilities and services: 7.5 Bar/cafe. Great breakfast facilities. Nice sitting area/reception. Computer access.
• Staff: 10 Very nice & helpful, many spoke good English.
• Quietness: 7.5 Depended on where in the hotel they were.
• Room: 10 Decent size. All expected amenities with nice touches like male/female toilet bags & slippers put in room in evening.
• Value for money: 10 Great value. Highly recommend it.

• Staff: Not rated Awful. The reception was totally understaffed. In the morning there was only 1 person when everybody wanted to check out. We had a problem with our safe and there was nobody who could help us. The receptionist could not handle the situation at all. At the end we missed the train for his fault. We came back to the same hotel after 1 week of travelling in Spain because we needed to leave some items there. We made the reservation upon our check out. When we got there, the same helpless person at the reception informed us that he messed up the reservation and did not check availability on time. After lots of arguing, we were relocated in another hotel. The receptionist paid the taxi out of his own pocket, probably to hide his mistake from his managment.
