• Negativ: By phone the owner confirmed me a room w/ full-bath and away from the street. I asked for an email confirmation but he said he did not have email access (weird, as he does have internet). I asked if we could confirm by fax and he agreed. So I wrote a fax but could not send it to his phone number (some phones automatically switch to fax). I called again and he said he did not have a fax and that it was all ok. I decided to trust him as he sounded so nice. My room was to the street and without bath. The owners were very rude about it. They said that the room would be quiet and I should not worry. There is a bar opposite the hotel; there was music and noisy people until 3am. That the room was dirty, freezing and had a broken chair did not bother me. For the price one should not expect too much, and I did not expect much, only what had been promised. Conclusion: you can’t trust their web site or their owner, and there might be a reason why he does not want to confirm reservations in writing.
