• Positive: La primera habitación que me dieron fue excelente: silenciosa, limpia, baño excelente,temperatura muy agradable y dos amplias ventanas.
• Negative: La segunda habitación que tuve fue algo peor porque se oía ruido del pasillo y no había posibilidad de abrir la ventana al exterior, además el baño era mucho más pequeño y básico que el de la habitación anterior...para tener el mismo precio.Pero igualmente muy limpia y acogedora.

• Cleanliness: 10 The room was clean, the floors are marble and very cold so bring slippers.
• Location: 10 Location of hotel is excellent! plenty of places to eat, shop, drink, people watch. 3 blocks to Puerta de Sol, 1 block Plaza Mayor. Everything is in Walking distance, including the Palace and Prado Musuem.(Musuem is about a 20 minute walk, but do able)
• Common facilities and services: 5 For the price, it a value. Don%27t expect luxury. YOu%27ll have a bed, personal shower and bath, towels, TV, and blower dryer.
• Staff: 5 The staff understands English and are very accomadating.
• Quietness: 5 Not so quite. But it is part of the charm. After all it%27s only one block off Puerta de Sol, and Plaza Mayor, the two major meccas of Madrid. YOu really do have to expect some noise, but with windows shut and drapes pulled, the noise is minimal.
• Room: 5 The room size was a little small. However, workable.
• Value for money: 10 Great value for the money

• Common facilities and services: 5 Enjoyed the Wi Fi, but it would be nice if it were available in the room like most hotels and hostals today (not available in Castilla II). Coffee or continental breakfast would be nice
• Staff: 2.5 Checked the "check in before 10" box on reservation form. The woman we met acted like she was doing us a favor by getting us in by 1300
• Quietness: 5 Inside rooms have minimal outside noise, but doors don%27t block much inside sound
